27 more staff members of iSon Xperiences, a telecom call centre, have tested positive to coronavirus in Oyo State. The new cases bring to 132 workers in the firm who have been infected with the coronavirus.
However, nine have fully recovered and have also been discharged having tested negative twice.
The Chairman of the State COVID-19 Task Force, Governor Seyi Makinde made this known via his verified twitter handle.
Nine confirmed Covid-19 patients have received their second negative test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to fifty-eight. Also, the Covid-19 confirmation tests for thirty suspected cases came back positive. Twenty-seven cases are from iSON Xperiences and one each from Ibadan South West, Ibadan South East and Oluyole Local Government Areas. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State as at 5.30PM today (Saturday) is 233,” he tweeted.
